Rowan: Jake, are you OK? Why did you want to get out of the car, do you feel alright?
Jake: I just wanted to – I love living round here – I love all this green stuff!
Rowan: It’s called grass, city boy!
Jake: No, not just the grass! All of it.
Rowan: Those big things are called trees.
Jake: Yeah very funny. You know what I mean.
Rowan: Of course I do. I think you’re a country boy at heart. You’ll be buying green wellies and a Barbour next.
Jake: It’s all just sort of soothing though, isn’t it?
Rowan: I like being outdoors when I need to clear my head – just walking and thinking…
Jake: Yes! And the wind blows all the cobwebs away. It’s great, isn’t it?
Rowan: Have you been sniffing the screenwash?
Jake: I’m just feeling happy!
Rowan: Well – I’m glad!
Jake: I have to say something serious though. The other day, when I asked you to move in – you probably thought you’d better say yes in case I threw myself under a bus or something. It wasn’t fair of me to ask you then. So I would love it, if you did want to, but if you don’t, it’s OK.
Rowan: I do want to, Jake. As long as you’re sure you still want me to. I can understand you might have said it on the spur of the moment –
Jake: Yes I did – I did – but I still meant it. So – you will, then! That’s great!
Rowan: Come on – it’s really cold out here. Let’s go back to mine and get some of my stuff, it’ll be easier to move in a bit at a time.
Rowan: You know – I really like this time of year. All the new buds, and green shoots, and things starting to grow again – you know that in a few weeks, everything will be coming back to life. Everything will look totally different.
Jake: Changing and getting better.
