Jamie: You look a bit different to last time we saw you.
Dusty: I’m smartening up my image! I got a job at the garden centre.
Jamie: Oh – well good for you! Brooke, why don’t you sit up here between me and Dusty?
Dusty: Do you need a hand up, Brooke?
Brooke: When we saw you before, Mummy was cross.
Jamie: Well, I’m not cross now, am I?
Brooke: OK. Are you friends now?
Dusty: I hope we are…?
Jamie: Yes, we’re friends. You know, Dusty, it’s not just your hair that’s different. You seem more – I don’t know – confident, I suppose. More relaxed.
Dusty: Well – I feel like I’ve got something in my life to focus on now. I want to settle down and stick at this job, and help to support Brooke, if you’ll let me, and I don’t just mean financially.
Jamie: Well, we’ll just take things a step at a time. We’re okay for money, you probably need to get yourself sorted a bit before you start thinking about all that.
Brooke: Your hair is like my hair now!
Dusty: Yes, I suppose it is, isn’t it?
Jamie: Well, there’s a reason why your hair is like Dusty’s, Brooke…
Jamie: …maybe Dusty would like to tell you what it is?
