Dan: This sling is brilliant! We’ve got to get one of these.
Rowan: I’ve got to admit, Sades, these are really nice pictures.
Jake: Emma sent us the link to the website – I’ll forward it on to you.
Sadie: Did you think they were going to be totally tasteless, then, darling?
Rowan: Well – I never know with you. I thought you’d have got your kit off and bared your stretchmarks.
Sadie: I haven’t GOT any stretchmarks! Anyway, I wanted something a bit demure, we want one blown up to hang in the living room.
Sadie: I can’t decide, though, which one to pick, and Dan’s no help!
Rowan: Well – they’re all nice…
Jake: Let’s move this magazine…
Jake: …then you can spread them out on the table and we can see them properly.
Rowan: Do you want to use one with both of you in it?
Sadie: I think that would be nice, and I do really like this one, I like how she cropped it into a long thin shape.
Jake: Yes, I like that one – it would look great on one of those box canvases.
Dan: I think we should have more than one on the wall.
Sadie: But having just one makes more impact, doesn’t it?
Rowan: I’d never have thought to have these sort of photos done – I just felt like a big blob, but you look beautiful!
Jake: You looked beautiful too, Ro.
Sadie: Oh Dan, let me have a little cuddle of Jack! I need to get some practise in.
Sadie: Oh – he’s such a sweetie! Only three weeks till we’ve got our own…
Dan: It’s nice that ours will be just a couple of weeks younger than Jack. They’ll grow up together.
Sadie: I wish they were going to be cousins, though. Our baby will be the twins’ cousin, and Jack is the twins’ cousin, but our baby and Jack won’t be related.
Rowan: Yeah but they’ll still be close, won’t they? They’ll probably see more of each other than most cousins do!
Sadie: I suppose so – oh I think he just filled his nappy!
Rowan: Here, I’ll pass him to his father – that’s HIS department. Unless that’s something else you want to practise?
Sadie: No I’ll pass, thanks – I can wait till I have my own to change!
Jake: You know, Sadie, our kids may not be proper cousins, but I’ll still feel like we’re all one big family.
Rowan: And I’ll tell you something else – seeing as my mum stood in for your mum on your wedding day, she’s fully expecting to be an honorary granny!
Sadie: Oh – oh that would be lovely! I would like that a lot.
Dan: Your mum and dad are brilliant, Rowan. They’ve always done so much for my family.
Sadie: You know, maybe it will be a good thing they won’t be related – if I have a girl, they might grow up and fall in love – wouldn’t that be wonderful?
Rowan: Um –
