Ed: You know, I half wish you’d managed to land that punch on Jonny!
Robin: Ah, no, man! Can you imagine…there’d’ve been hell to pay.
Ed: Ha ha – yeah he would have sued you for ruining his good looks! Seriously, though, you DID scare the hell out of him.
Robin: I scared meself…
Ed: Hey come on! It’s all over and done with, isn’t it?
Robin: Yeah, over and done with…I’m glad you’re doin’ well though, on your own, like.
Ed: Thanks – it’s nice being able to do more of my own thing. And I don’t miss all that tension we had in the band.
Ed: Rob, you don’t have to feel bad about the break up. It was for the best.
Robin: D’you really think so…?
Ed: We all wanted out, didn’t we, but we were all too scared to make a break. If you hadn’t cracked up, something else would have happened.
Robin: I feel like I let so many people down…
Ed: Rob, I think a lot of people let YOU down – and I include myself in that. We should have watched out for you more.
Robin: But I shouldn’t have needed it, I should’ve been able to handle it –
Ed: Come on, don’t beat yourself up. Martie said he’d told you he didn’t blame you for anything.
Robin: Aye but – I never knew what YOU thought of me –
Ed: You are such a prat! I came here to see you because I like you, and I wanted to make sure you’re okay, and I want us to be friends.
Ed: I think we could manage that, couldn’t we, without all the crap from the band getting in the way?
Robin: Aye I think we could – I’d like that, Ed.
