Niamh: Don’t worry if you can’t find it, Cherry.
Cherry: It’s just under my bed somewhere – oh, hey Lizzie, what’s up?
Lizzie: Nothing…
Niamh: There’s obviously something!
Lizzie: Oh, I was just looking forward to Robin coming home today, but he’s going to stay a bit longer now.
Lizzie: I mean, it’s good, isn’t it? Because it means he’s having a nice time and getting along with his family, so I should be pleased…
Cherry: Aw! Well, it IS nice that he’s enjoying his visit, but of course you’re missing him! You’ve seen him nearly every day since that time he was staying here, haven’t you?
Niamh: Hey, you could always look him up on YouTube if you’re missing him!
Lizzie: How do you mean?
Niamh: Well, there’s bound to be lots of videos on there of This Place. I used to have a DVD of one of their concerts but I don’t have it now, or I’d have given it to you.
Cherry: Oh, Lizzie’s got a DVD he gave her, of that TV series he was in. She could get her fix that way!
Niamh: Yeah but Cherry, he was just a little kid in that! Lizzie’s missing the grown up version!
Lizzie: I’ve never seen him how he was in the band… I’ve never heard him sing. He said he’s not that good.
Niamh: Lizzie, I think he’s got a lovely singing voice! Come on, let’s get the laptop and show you –
Lizzie: Oh no, Niamh! I hardly know anything about that part of his life, and he still doesn’t really talk about it, I would feel like I was prying!
Cherry: Lizzie, it’s not private stuff! This is how millions of people know him, why shouldn’t you look?
Lizzie: Because it’s not how I know him, I just love him for himself and that means a lot to him.
Cherry: Well honestly, Lizzie, looking at a couple of pop videos isn’t going to change that!
Niamh: Come on – aren’t you curious…?
Lizzie: Well –
Lizzie: – yes, I suppose I am…
Cherry: Good girl – it’ll cheer you up! Now, where’s the laptop…
Cherry: Oh Lizzie – your face!
Niamh: What are you thinking?
Lizzie: I don’t know, it’s –
Lizzie: – it’s like looking at someone else, well it’s like looking at Robin – but someone who looks like Robin – oh I don’t know, really!
Niamh: Well, he IS someone else here, isn’t he – he’s RJ.
Lizzie: That’s how YOU knew him, before he came to live in the village – you knew him as RJ. It’s like that person’s gone now.
Niamh: I remember saying to Tom, a few weeks back – I can still see little flashes of RJ in Robin – when he’s really relaxed and laughing and letting his guard down.
Lizzie: I kind of see it the opposite way. Looking at RJ, it’s as though HE sometimes lets his guard down –
Cherry: Yeah I can see that! It’s like he just loses concentration for a second, he forgets to be RJ and whoah! There’s your flaky boyfriend!
Lizzie: Cherry! Don’t be so horrible!
Niamh: So what do you think of the music? Don’t tell me you don’t recognise any of these songs!
Lizzie: Oh I do, I just never paid much attention. It’s not my sort of thing – some of them are a bit samey, and where they’re all singing together, or just the odd line each, I can’t really hear Robin…
Niamh: The stuff that Robin and Ed wrote was the best – here, let me try and find something for you…
Lizzie: Robin wrote some of the songs? I didn’t know that!
Niamh: There weren’t that many – let me see if I can find a clip of this one, he always used to have a solo spot in all the shows, it’s one of his own songs, and it’s just him and his guitar – this was always a real favourite with the fans!
Lizzie: I didn’t even know he played the guitar…
Niamh: Here you go – enjoy!
Lizzie: Oh, thank you, Niamh…
Lizzie: …oh, look at him…
Cherry: I’ve got to admit, Liz – he’s pretty good isn’t he?
