Lizzie: This is such a lovely song – it’s romantic…
Lizzie: I’m going to turn it up a bit.
Robin: Now then, Lizzie, come and dance with us!
Lizzie: Oh Robin, I can’t dance!
Robin: Ah, come on, Lizzie man! It’s a slow dance, it’s easy…it’s not like dancin’ really, it’s just shufflin’ around a bit.
Lizzie: Well – okay then!
Robin: Liz, Cherry thinks I should be takin’ you out dancin’, all the clubs, like, an’ posh restaurants an’ all that…
Lizzie: That’s what Cherry likes doing, not what I like doing.
Robin: It’s not what I like doin’ either, I never did.
Lizzie: Well then! If neither of us want to do those things, stop worrying about what Cherry thinks we should do.
Robin: Yeah but listen, Liz – I would really like it if we could have a weekend away.
Lizzie: Oh! Well –
Robin: Would you like that, Lizzie? Just a couple of nights, in a really nice hotel – we can go wherever you like, out in the country or by the sea, it doesn’t have to be all that far away – well, I’d prefer if it wasn’t, if I’m bein’ honest –
Lizzie: It sounds like a lovely idea, Robin, but…
Robin: Ah Lizzie, I’m not trying to – I mean –
Robin: – separate rooms, Liz!
Lizzie: Oh Robin! I wasn’t thinking that! It’s just, you’re used to posh hotels, I think I would feel uncomfortable and out of place.
Robin: Ah Lizzie, you’d fit in anywhere!
Robin: I don’t mean the sort of place me mam likes goin’ to, just somewhere – somewhere dead nice. I want to do somethin’ special for you instead of just goin’ out for a pizza an’ all that…
Lizzie: Robin! I love just going out for a pizza.
Lizzie: And I love going out for walks in the forest or on the beach, I love everything we do together. But it would be nice to have a whole weekend, just to ourselves, wouldn’t it?
Cherry: Aaah, you two are just SO sweet! Well, while you’re deciding where to go –
Cherry: – if you feel like slumming it at the Italian, we wondered if you’d like to join us tomorrow night?
